Installation is mandatory for device communication.
The device will prompt you to generate a new, unique **Recovery Seed** (24 words). This seed is the ultimate backup of your entire wallet. Write it down **physically** on the provided recovery cards.

Set a strong PIN (Personal Identification Number) of 4 to 9 digits. This PIN protects the physical device from unauthorized access. The device screen will guide you on entering the numbers via a randomized layout.
This PIN is needed for all transactions and device unlocks.
